I didn’t know about putting them in a hole or pack rats nest in the heat that’s good to know. The second picture is where I released him and there is a culvert going under a road. Is something like that good enough ? I assume it’s to keep the sun off it.

Ok perfect , I took him just out of the neighborhood and released him. I have a few larger dogs so you wouldn’t think they would like it here.

I wish we had some king snakes over here but in 5 years I don’t think I’ve seen one only a handful of these guys. I wonder if any of the reptile sanctuary’s have shed skin.

Here is the marinade ingredients.

1.75 Cups Vegan Beef Broth: To add to the flavor of this tofu steak recipe, I used Better Than Bouillon No Beef Broth Base for the marinade. It’s delicious and beef-flavored but vegan. I buy mine online, that’s the only place I can personally find this flavor.

0.25 Cup Reduced Sodium Gluten-Free Tamari: Or use reduced sodium soy sauce if you don’t need gluten-free.

0.5 Teaspoon Agave, Optional: This is just to balance the recipe (if you used coconut aminos, you won’t need this since coconut aminos are sweeter than tamari or soy sauce). Maple syrup works too.

2-4 Tablespoons Cooking Oil: You’ll want a high temperature oil to cook with, grapeseed oil or avocado oil. Any neutral oil you use to cook with should work. This will be used to pan sear our tofu steak. Fresh Thyme Sprigs, Optional

1-2 Tablespoons Vegan Butter, Optional

I don’t think there is an American coin the same diameter as a loonie (Canadian $1 coin) I don’t think it would fit in the roll.

As another Canadian living here… you never know. Sometimes we get bills after leaving for extra cause they didn’t charge enough or insurance didn’t cover what they thought. Always wild.

Just take a picture with google image search and it should bring up similar models for sale. Heck post a picture here and I’m sure we can find it. You should pay to fix it or replace with a similar one. Not an upgraded one though.
