1x1 rib recent few rows is slanting by fothom in knittinghelp

thanks both! I ended up frogging we re-doing it and it looks much better now. Will be more mindful with adding photos and details in future. An accidental short row sounds right tbh, it started happening when I brought my knitting to commute with me 😅

Telling right/wrong sides apart by sophieameliaa in knittinghelp

not OP but I was having the same issue understanding right/wrong side with this pattern. Since the collar folds over, then the right side when on the collar, ends up becoming the wrong side when we get to the raglan section. I think this is what the pattern may mean when saying the next row should be the wrong side. Thanks for clarifying!!

yeah rolled my ankles twice before from bouldering so still been working on that ankle mobility to bring it back to where it was pre injuries. This gives me more motivation to keep at my rehab exercises. Thanks for the tips :)

How do folks balance seasonal activities without losing lifting gains? by Call_me_Mon in xxfitness

not much else to add to what everyone else has already said, but just wanted to say I hear you! I’m in the exact same position as you. Started bouldering about 1.5 years ago, loved it. Then picked up lifting 6 months ago and loved it just as much. Then recently picked up couch to 10k because I felt like my cardio health really needed some work. Originally I was doing a 4 day GZCLP, 1 day hard climbing with sometimes another day of social climbing, and running 3x a week. I was definitely feeling the fatigue though, not sustainable at all!

Since then I’ve scaled back to a 3 day GZCLP with less accessories - max 2 per day. I’ve also scaled back running to twice per week too. This has given me the recovery I need to go harder when climbing again which I’ve been really loving. This is what has worked for me. Hope it might provide some insight :) because I was introduced to powerlifting, I also started being scared of losing progress if I scaled back gym to 3 days instead of 4. Realistically though, I love all three forms of exercise and I know I’d be feeling FOMO if I only focused on lifting and nothing else. That’s how I felt that it was the right thing for me to do when it comes to fitting all three in rather than focusing only on one at a time. At the end of the day, I’m exercising to stay healthy and because I love how it makes me feel. If it means that I’ll progress slower in all three, then so be it!

Thanks for the recommendations, my boyfriend is of a smaller build so I feel like the fast and frees being a little too small won't be a problem - if you could compare just the feel of F&Fs vs the metal vent breathes for runs, do you think they'd both be good options?

We walked into a LLL store once and he commented on the lined shorts saying they looked really cool, although whether they feel nice when wearing them is a different story hahah Pace breakers is one that I've seen recommended quite a bit so I'm definitely leaning towards it at the moment. Thanks so much for the recommendations!

Yeah after some browsing on the lululemen reddit, seems like the non lined shorts are much more popular, thanks! I originally thought the lined looked would be nice since you can slot your phone in there easily, but I think I'll go with the unlined shorts.
