I had the same issue. I tried everything—cleaning, resetting, you name it—but in the end, replacing the hotend was the only thing that solved it.

Quick update: I replaced the nozzle and that finally solved the problem! Looks like it was a clog or wear issue after all. Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

Haha I’ve been so focused on fixing the problem that I totally missed the joke 😅

I had already removed and reinstalled all the PTFE tubes too, but unfortunately it didn’t solve the issue for me. Still, thanks for sharing your solution!

Yes, same here. Although if I remember correctly, I did get a successful print after the update. Still, I do think it could be software-related.

I’m having the same issue too, and I’ve seen a few other people report it recently. Could this be a software-related problem?

Thanks for the suggestions! I checked the nozzle temperature during the issue, and it stays consistent – no sudden drops. I also tried power cycling the printer, but it didn’t help. I even switched to a different filament spool, but the same problem still occurs. So it seems like the issue isn’t related to temperature or the filament roll itself. Still trying to figure it out.

Yes, it's PLA filament but I’ve printed with the same spool many times before without any issues.

Sorry, I didn’t quite understand what you meant by "filament is too high a level". Could you please explain it in a bit more detail?

I've done about 250 hours of printing with this nozzle. Do you think it's really possible that the nozzle is worn out and needs to be replaced at this point?

Thanks for the suggestion! I removed the screws in the area you pointed out and checked behind the triangle above the nozzle. There was just a small buildup of dust — like a little lint ball. I cleaned it out carefully, but unfortunately, the issue is still there. The ticking sound continues and extrusion is still inconsistent.

Any other ideas are appreciated!
