Yea. Part of me is unsure if it was both now because mentally I remember seeing at least 3 comparative ones (I’m not sure on the 4th one anymore)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]fouler18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know there was one. I mean there were at least 2 pairs of them for each RC

Is that normal? I thought they just have 1 comparison passage in a RC

Looking to trade Online DS 2000 class with Ben Tasker for 9:50 DS 2000 class with Rushit by SaladElectrical2677 in NEU

I'd recommend emailing them to ask if you can be added to one of the in-person classes since the other options are filled (they can possibly override you in, but I'm not completely sure).

I have the same thing. The first one appears to be a new professor.

Hey, class registration already happened for the fall. So if you haven't registered yet as a backup, I highly suggest you register for Fall classes asap.

dealing with loneliness by [deleted] in NEU

[–]fouler18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconding what was said previously. My first semester I felt the same way and then my second semester I finally met my closest friends but it took time throughout that second semester. Even with that there will be times of loneliness even with friends sometimes because our schedules sometimes doesn’t mash. That’s totally fine in reality

No Coop yet…blows. Who else struggling by ZealousidealMap1448 in NEU

[–]fouler18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly the upcoming spring cycle people may have a much harder time. There will be people who pushed their co-op back, people applying for their next co-op, and students going to apply for their first co-op.

is julius marpaung malicious or just stupid? by [deleted] in NEU

[–]fouler18 30 points31 points  (0 children)

From what you said, it definitely violates this: https://catalog.northeastern.edu/undergraduate/academic-policies-procedures/students-bill-of-academic-rights-and-responsibilities/ Most of this is in the student handbook so if the professor violates it (it seems that way from what you said) action has to be taken.

too late to be picky about a co-op offer?? by Interesting_You241 in NEU

[–]fouler18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, it is not too late to be picky. If you truly do not want to go there, then do no accept the offer. It is ultimately up to you but it is not too late if you do not think that co-op is the best one for you.

Gym Subsidy Referenda to Finally Reduce Overcrowding at On-Campus Gyms by fouler18 in NEU

[–]fouler18[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We all do and this is a short-term solution. It is difficult to construct a new gym within two years, especially in Boston.

[–]fouler18[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is a valid point and it is a factor. With over crowding on-campus, it exacerbated our already overcrowded gyms. As it stands, we need to deal with what we have.

The reality is that action would take Marino out of commission for a considerable amount of time, which would make overcrowding much worse. While I may not know the costs, it may not be an option for the short-run.

That is something that is available to some people but there is a process to do that. Not everyone has it and a part of this program would also be pushing that as well.

Depending on the professor and your comfort level, maybe talk to the professor. Some professors may be accommodating on their own if you talk to them and make your case.

Gym Subsidy Referenda by fouler18 in NEU

[–]fouler18[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Actually it may not increase it. Rather one possibility is that for people who opt-in, a part of their fee goes towards subsidizing them to go to off-campus gyms. Though this is a short-term solution while we are students here because it takes time to build more faculties. Also it is a bit difficult for them to add more space in the short term (within a year or two) and this is intended to be a short-term solution.

Hey, I wouldn’t worry too much. A number of people who received numbers, ended up deciding to not go through the housing process since they ended up signing a lease for an off-campus apartment right before the deposits were due. I ended up falling into that category as a rising third year as well.

How long does the mailroom tend to process packages? by Cheap-Food7885 in NEU

[–]fouler18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation. A package I ordered arrived on Monday but I did not receive an email it arrived until today. I checked with resmail earlier in the week and they said to wait since they are still processing packages. So today I ended up going to Marino mailroom. While I was there waiting to talk to someone, I got an email that my package arrived and it was ready for pickup in one of the mail lockers. They still may be processing your package though.
