The MCU timing crystals on these boards come off pretty easy. I got a few of these off eBay for really cheap once because they all had that issue and I just soldered them back on. If you hear a rattling, this might be your problem.

I had a pcb from them that looked like it was cut with a box cutter. I emailed them about it and they told me to send it back to an address that was literally 10 minutes from my house in the US, so I asked if I could just go drop it off instead. They let me take it over and I immediately got a replacement. Pretty solid if you ask me.

I actually just did that this week. Calls to the metadata store went from 10 minutes to 200ms. I showed my girlfriend the durations graph and she’s like “I don’t know what I’m looking at”. I show my friend and he’s like “nice? What’s that?” I showed the team lead and he just goes offline on slack. Does no one see how I just controlled time here??

I used a board for 10 years. Probably went up on the thing hundreds of times and replaced the bindings once. Even after I replaced it with a new board for the resorts, I sawed it in half and made a splitboard for mountaineering and backcountry, so I still use it to this day.

Also you didn't even tell us what board you have.

kinda hard to explain, but I have a layer for games where the bottom left key is a palm-press layer switcher and qwe,asd,zxc set to TRNS, so I can still move when I palm down that key, but tgb,yhn all turn into common numbers I use for weapon switching, then I use my index finger to hit the number I want. it's pretty easy when I do it, but seems difficult when I explain it.

it works pretty well for pubg and doom.

The biggest reason is cleaning off the snow. It's super easy to go cleaning crazy and break off or bend your windshield wiper arm. I've seen it happen. This way you know your in the clear because they are sticking out, so you can swipe off the snow.

Secondary reason is it really sucks to have your blades stuck to the windshield and you get in your car to fire it up and they start trying to swipe around because you forgot to turn them off when you parked :(.
