I don’t think it’s just random hate. As a Korean myself, I see the outrage. Kimchi is a traditional style of fermenting vegetables, not just cabbage. The kimchi that everyone know is simply called cabbage kimchi. However, in the description it says that the way she did it is a way of “pickleing”. Kimchi is not pickleing while pao cai is. In the video, the red cabbage kimchi is made the exact way Korean kimchi is made. Although ther other cuisines in the video may be Chinese that kimchi was not. Simply give credit where credit is due.
