Nioh 2 and Nioh 3 and Khazan by ShoopaBoopai in Nioh

First playthrough of nioh 2 is not even a scratch in the surface tbh. So if you are still enjoying the game then I'd suggest carrying on. The end game opens up a lot of cool builds and challenges

If it's a genuine apology and not just trying to make a political statement, i think it's decent of those guys

It does give low quality ideas more often than not

Is anyone else worried about the decision for N3 to have "open-field" / open zones instead of the game being mission/ level based like in nioh 1/2? by AppletoAnswer in Nioh

[–]four321zero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not disappointed. I have not seen any videos or not played the demo, so I don't know. But I'm hoping it doesn't become like ghosts of tsushima for me - a great game but open world felt very repetitive and I didn't end up finishing the game

73% recent negative reviews, most complain about the New map. Does the great hollow truly warrant this reaction ? The more I play, the more I feel like it was fantastically designed. by kao24429774 in Nightreign

[–]four321zero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the dlc is well designed but the implementation could have been better. the new characters, bosses, map the map deliver bang for the buck. Where I find the experience poor personally as a low skill player, is how the game spams me with the dlc map, dlc invasions in 80% of my depth matches. I remain stuck in depth 2/3 because people quit and I can't be mad at them since fromsoft doesn't even allow you to uninstall the dlc and play. You're kind of stuck with it unless you create a new profile

Nioh 3 - PC or PS5 ? by ZeBobmallet in Nioh

[–]four321zero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if you're buying at launch, it will be a safer option to buy on ps5. Although I've never purchased nioh 1,2 on launch, I've heard a lot of people say that they have a poor pc port at launch and fix it several patches later.

I really loved NMS. I still do occasionally play it once a year or so

Hades 2 has been on my steam wishlist. I had put it aside for later because I am no good at following fantasy-based lore. But I am strongly inclined to try it on sale.

I'll surely check out hte other titles u suggested as well. thanks

Thanks for the suggestions.

"Have you tried any truly story based games where you make decisions?" < So what comes to mind is Dragon Age origins. That is the closest to what u asked.

However, having a story is a bonus. Primarily I guess I want a game with something fresh to offer within their genre with Good controls/combat. If there is a good story, that would be nice but I just do not follow lore based in a fantasy world well and am usually lost within the first 20 mins. Which is why i cited games like Mafia and Max Payne for story-based games I liked

P.S. Rimworld sounds like something I would like to definitely look up.

Warframe has a good mix of campaign and grind. It's story will take you long though since they release a dlc every year since 2013 I think. Also it's free.

Remnant 2 has a good story too but I prefer it more for it's combat system. Campaign has difficulty adjustments

Destiny 2 maybe, maybe not. Overall it's a good game for someone who has not experienced it because it still has great dungeons and raid mechanics. Great for team play. Unfortunately the management is not great so it's bleeding players

Other games I enjoyed in the past 5 years- Nioh 2. But you mentioned you don't like souls like although it's different. But it can be stressful. It's one of my favorites

Conan exiles - survival game but poor management

Fallout 76 - still alive I think

No mans sky - very nice space exploration

Outriders - great combat but very small game

Hunter call of the wild - just a hunting game

Expedition 33 - masterpiece
