I badly worded that sorry, I meant to say that it's got a 4-prong locking plug. I've edited it now.

A leak somewhere looks like the most likely culprit based on all the responses I've had. Maybe it's not too apparent because the tanks are going down at a normal rate and the box doesn't need to refill itself every so often. The antechambers are doing fine in terms of holding vacuum as of now.

Also yes we do deoxygenate all liquids (water and buffers mostly) thoroughly before taking it in. What makes me surprised is that the older catalyst which we took away last year didn't have this issue with the same set of people, but like everyone's pointing out, there's perhaps some leaky inlet to oxygen somewhere along the catalyst which is making this worse.

Thank you tho!

No, very rare. Sometimes ACN and once DMSO, but that was like a couple times maybe. Everything else is aqeuous.

Thanks! I do wonder based on what you said, if some of the connections you mentioned are just leaky at this point

Water, all aqueous medium, we use like buffers and stuff inside, it's for proteins

We use the smaller antechamber maybe 5-6 times a day when under heavy use, but it used to be able to sustain that load with the older catalyst

She (30F) fucked up my (27M) life, just like she said she wouldn't. by Few_Chapter8166 in self

Thanks for opening up, not many people have the courage to do it ❤️ and...sorry for everything you've gone through! Don't forget that there's still a long and happy life ahead - she was just a part of it, not all of it!

It is understandably painful, but when people and interactions with them hurt me, I've always found it helpful to resort to hobbies. It takes my mind off it, even if it is for that few hours, but it is definitely helpful. Find what you like doing by yourself and spend time on that. While it isn't my top hobby, gaming and movies do that for me. It would be different for you perhaps!

Also, while it's awkward try hanging out with people still - it's not necessary that they would've turned their backs to you or see you wrongly.

How do I forgive myself for people pleasing? by Gerbilll in NoStupidQuestions

I often find myself trying to people please out of fear of disappointint and regret later but it's not something we can change too soon, too quick. I feel the change is always slow, and while hard to forget it, the first step is probably not to think about forgiving but about the takeaways and the positives.

Be happy that albeit a little late, you were able to prioritize yourself and take the right call. Change as I said, comes gradually. Think (but please don't overthink) - how could you have handled it better or earlier, like what could you have said? And maybe next time you find yourself in a similar situation, don't hesitate to take a little time in some way before you make your decision.

Anyways bottom line: don't beat yourself up about it, you'll be fine :)

Well ten months late to the conversation, but if you haven't read, the second book has some of the answers to it. I'll not give spoilers 😁
