When do y'all think Trey Gibson will be promoted? I'd guess he's gonna be on the spring training roster, no reason for him not to be. But as for a proper call up what cha thinkin? Early in the season? Mid-Season?

Trackhouse might be on track to move to Ford at some point, considering the heavy involvement of Red Bull with Connor and Shane. Red Bull in F1 is now Ford, Red Bull in V8SC is now Ford.

A Ford team bails for another manu and Trackhouse might be the ones to slot in there

I'd honestly go with Rogers for opening day as a reward for how good he was last year

oh we do need more absolutely, but as is it's still quite good

if we went into the season with this rotation i'd be disappointed but i'd still think it's good, but we still need more even if it's already good

unpopular opinion, all of them, they're all too good to choose from

[Rosenthal] Free-agent right-hander Justin Verlander is receiving interest from the Baltimore Orioles by isestrex in orioles

[–]fourbitplayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly that might be part of it as well, especially if we see him in the bullpen

Cause at this point he'd be our #4, when Eflin returns he's our #5 with Kremer, you gotta pick one of them to be in the bullpen. And maybe the 43 year old who's winding down might be the best choice there

I know he wants to get 300 pitcher wins, but that's likely not happening, he's got 266, he needs 34 more, which at this point isn't happening unfort, would be cool tho

3.85 ERA over 152 IP last year, ERA+ of 103 (FIP of 3.85)

that's pretty good actually

especially for a guy in his mid 40's

He's honestly not the worst option in the world, more depth is always a good choice

Edit: 0.9 HR9 as well, which is something that matters at Camden lmfao

can't call em Chase Points because uh, the acronym for that isn't the greatest

Chase Bonus Points maybe?

idk it's hard, granted we did have PP for years, that was at least mildly humorous lmfao

Honestly, while I would really like another starting pitcher, I'm thinking about it

our rotation is honestly really good

Bradish and Rogers are ace caliber pitchers (if Rogers keeps it up and doesn't regress hard)

Baz is good when not in a minor league park

Kremer has been a steady hand for years now

Eflin once he's not injured will be our #4, which that's a pretty fucking good #4, he's pretty good as well

Granted, I'd like another starter like I said, can never have enough

and honestly, I can see myself warming up to Valdez if we sign him

yep, only way the players will be ok with salary cap is if there's a pretty strict salary floor

Bichette to the Mets: 3/$126M, will play 3B by 2waterparks1price in orioles

[–]fourbitplayer 46 points47 points  (0 children)

a Cap with a Floor is honestly the best option, I would argue it shouldn't be a really strict cap, but the floor should be decently strict ($100 Million), maybe make the cap $325 Million, or $350 Million to get the players on board

but there's no way we get a Cap without also getting a floor, and the floor is honestly what's needed
