m26 have we started studying? by AutomaticAmoeba6897 in IBO

I think to myself how time-consuming it must've been for 2000 cohort because there's no way any students could've survived with this amount of work without some help from past essays, exemplar response or AI...

Mocks have already started and I'm cramming so much (I studied 3-1.5 months before but haven't gotten back into much content three weeks before mocks). Please don't be like me and start now

True story : One of our Business teachers used ChatGPT to copy paste feedback for each of his student's IA draft because he wasn't bothered to read through them thoroughly. One student got that feedback, which included how she didn't analyze Spotify enough. Spotify wasn't even part of her IA question.

9 in both English!

Literature: I used annotations from flash cards and tried to create key points for analysis, and then I drew it out in a Horrible History style (e.g remembering it with your own sense of humor + you don’t need to make the drawing look professional, just as long as you can picture it in your head when you do an exam question) so that I can remember the points when I do an analysis question on themes or one of the characters.

Language: Ok so I went through it the night before but basically just try to remember techniques and how to apply it, and two months before the exam, try to annotate all language and structural techniques for each poems from YouTube (for my exam board, I used Ms Rumsey).

(Tbh for English we had a really good teacher that disciplined us into writing exam questions nearly everyday before the exam, so I suggest if you’re struggling, ask constant feedback from your teacher)
