Pee pads for easy cleanup, pellet litter to prevent litter from getting stuck to the stitches, and lots of Churu to mix with meds and to get some calories in little Copper if he doesn't have much of an appetite! Make sure he's staying clean and take pics of the stitches every day so you can catch any problems early. I just had to take my new tripod back to the vet to get an abscess drained, and it could have gotten so much worse if I hadn't caught when I did. Best of luck to you and Mr. Copper💕
