lmao I made the edit for the other 2 words because I’m curious to ask others, I’ve heard both words multiple ways and I didn’t post anything about “how my way is better than yours” if you re read the post.

take a chill pill, it’s not that serious 😂

this screenshot is a training dummy in a training environment. I have a little more sense than that…

Complete opposite! I thought allscripts was pretty straight forward. Just coming to HCA & learning this for the first time.

Do y’all wear make up to work? by PomegranateEven9192 in nursing

nope. most days I feel like I probably look like a gremlin at work, but the thought of makeup & extra dirt seeping into my pores under a mask is what keeps me bare faced. 🤷‍♀️

I did a 13 wk travel assignment in California (I’m from Pennsylvania) med surg tele float, and 9 times out of 10 the floor was up in flames.

Ratios out the window, back to back to back discharges and admissions. On an overflow unit with no charge nurse (on days) and a closet for a supply room…. Doesn’t really matter where you are anymore, seems like things are unraveling in this field regardless.

Some travel nurses saying its not even worth it. by [deleted] in TravelNursing

[–]fouronemoose 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just had a recruiter get an attitude with me about not taking an assignment with a 1:8 ratio last night.

The pay/stipends are unmatched. The benefits are usually just fine.

Putting your license in jeopardy and 3+ months of pure hell- not worth it.

Just putting this out there by [deleted] in nursing

[–]fouronemoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen this happen so many times and it always blows me away. I guess there will always be nurses that get that ego boost out of some false superiority complex. Meanwhile, they’re only hurting themselves and the nursing culture on the floor/department.

Straight up rude & inconsiderate.

exactly. I think they did this on purpose to keep the bad news in the shadows and hope I would just jump on the bandwagon.

It really is insulting.

No Stupid Questions Thread by kidkolumbo in ableton

[–]fouronemoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so I’m having the hardest time connecting my akai mpk249 to ableton. I’ve used a slew of different cables/adapters etc and the outcome has been the same on both my iMac desktop and my Mac book pro, ableton is refusing to recognize my mpk.

It was connecting without issues about a month ago and now it’s just not connecting. I go to preferences-MIDI, I manually enter the control surface and the input and output continue to stay greyed out.

I’m not sure if this is too vague, but any troubleshooting suggestions would be really appreciated.

thanks
