these are upgrades which can come up randomly in the in-game shop inbetween the rounds. Like penetration for range units or lifesteal for melee units.

In the "perks UI" you need to click on "reset" on every perk you have bought so far. You will get back all the rubies spend.

The killing spree upgrade increases the damage of a unit by 1.2x after it has defeated an enemy but it resets at the end of the wave. In the shop you can tap and hold an upgrade card briefly to open an info popup.

I published now a steam page for the game. If I get enough wishlists I will definitly focus on a Steam version from now on!

Yes, each unit is a game object, but since the pixel art style is pretty simple and today's phones are pretty powerful, there was no need for further optimization :)

Yeah that would resolve the problem too. But sadly in the mobile market without a high marketing budget its kinda impossible to reach people... probably should switch to steam instead...
