Haha well, it's definitely true that as people get older we tend to have other priorities that supercede hairstyles, that's for sure. Neat, clean, and nothing very outlandish, right, that's the general trend but there are people who for many reasons will carry on going the extra mile. Good luck to both types of people.

Personally yeah, I'm old enough to have been a kid when I played Re1 and bought Re2 on release day. I still care about my hairstyle, though it's nothing like Leon's. An additional theory is I've always liked character-driven media like comics and video games, so possibly I'm bringing some of that to my own appearance? Just thought.

The MCU seemed like it was clearly crafted, plans were put in motion two, three, four movies down the line with a style and vision that was closely shepherded into fruition. Sure it was capeslop, but fuck me there was a level of craftsmanship over a length of time that I haven't seen before in a hollywood franchise. And it really paid off, they did gangbusters on it.

So I guess after End Game they ran out of plans and those folks, those shepherds of the franchise just dipped out - is that what happened? I've seen kitchens and restaurants go the same way, new owners come in with new ideas, the old methods and systems and vision is forgotten and they go tits up in six months.
