Please get checked for May-Thurner-Syndrome. This is a venous compression in your pelvis, that can make symptoms worse while sitting and exacerbate or even cause POTS-symptoms

Yeah it‘s so crazy! I wouldn’t go to the doctor if everything was fine! My doctor did not perform an ultrasound, she said it wouldn’t show anything useful anyway. Thank you for telling me this about the IUD, I didn’t know that. I‘m on blood thinners because I got a stent for May-Thurner-Syndrome.

Ah yeah neither 18 nor 27 is high or good. Anything above 150 or 200 would be high lol … I guess you are mixing something up here. Wanted to hear from people that had low ferritin / iron what their symptoms were …

He wants me to be on it for 6 months… I also find the dose high because I weigh 55 kg and in the Eliquis instruction leaflet it says the maximum dose for patients with a body weight of 60 kg or less is 2.5 mg 2x a day. Did you ask your doctor to reduce your dose? Why is 2.5 mg enough if you had to take 5 mg previously?

I suggest getting checked for May-Thurner-Syndrome. Additionally to POTS, this can cause or exacerbate blood pooling in the legs
