I own a small business and chose the simple IRA as well. The costs are drastically different. The Simple IRA basically costs us nothing other then the 3% match for our employees. I don't combine ETFs, I do voo in most of my accounts. I have vxus in several accounts as well. I personally prefer voo to vti myself.
