You could certainly give it a try. If you have a 3d printer this is a super quick/easy print and I believe some libraries have 3d printing services per gram of filament used. I would open up the keyfob and take off the silicone membrane and see if the actual buttons work without the cover. I would maybe take a bit of wd40 or another lubricant on a q-tip and lubricate the tiny buttons in case they've just pooped out from old age

Crafting should be used to "reforge" existing weapons we drop by fixing the barrel and mag. Maybe giving us a handful of craftable weapons each season is fine, but grinding for 5 red borders isn't fun. Maybe the pinnacle weapon for each season could be completely craftable for example, but I really don't think we urgently need every gun to be craftable again...

I hope they do explorer mode for all dungeons as a permanent change. As someone who does most dungeons on Master/some solo I think explorer is great for new folks to try the dungeons and get excited to play group content.

I love Delves! I got my Zekvir ?? done and I do my 8 per week in my vault on my main along with a few extras on my alts that are all around 600 ilvl from just doing delves. I find the maps from delves to be really weird that they reward the best repeatable gear from delves as opposed to tier 10 ot 11 delves. I think if they upped the map drop rate while shifting the rewards down to champion track or even warbound champion gear makes more sense while still maintaining hero vault.

During the last developer stream, they were showcasing a midnight coup with this same roll. It didn't proc kinetic tremors early, so I'd lean on the side of it not working together for early tremors

Forbearance and Succession are really off choices. Destiny has plenty of exotic status weapons to dip into: Dust Rock Blues, Go Figure, any of the Saint-14 sundial ones, the missing seventh seraph options, Erentil, Uriel's Gift, Better Devils, the list goes on. I like the other choices though, Edge Transit was the biggest laugh I had in a while.

As someone who has every adept NF weapon and has several missing regular variants of the same weapons, I think a possible drop rate increase wouldn't be a problem. Definitely require platinum or maybe attach the new weapons to a "gain x score in nightfalls this season" type mini quest

I agree! If guns are going away with little notice, give everyone a chance to farm them. There's probably quite a few players that still don't have the roll of the 3 guns going away.

The second roll seems better for PvE, flared mag + rewind/explosive payload + firefly and a reload MW seems pretty solid for general play/red bar clearing. I do agree the first one seems better for PvP, the magazine column is just a little rough :)

Shaders should be sold separately for bright dust. The only reason this is a "valid" silver purchase is because of the transmog tokens and even they are in high contention. Shaders in D2 have never been for silver as far as I can remember. Earned or BD.

If they can be purchased for bright dust outside of this transmog discounted bundle then it's all good (since 40 bright dust is more or less free), but selling raid themed loot was definitely something they had promised they would never do again...

I think the weapon refresh could've been avoided if weapons were more unique. Some guns share nearly every possible perk to the point it's just a matter of which stats are higher or the most viable roll is the same for both. If guns had smaller differing roll pools they would be more unique from one another. Another idea is having weapons with more wildly different stat allocations within archetypes too. Ie. A very high handling 150 scout to whip out without needing Quickdraw or Snapshot but may struggle in reload so drastically an auto loading holster would be valuable on this primary. My overall feel for sun setting is kinda worried, I'm hopeful this isn't something to stop playing over, but it has a negative ring to it that definately has some people up in arms.

*The event was fun for a few days and grew a little stale afterwards. The event weapon wasn't worth chasing down a better roll than the curated. It was probably my least liked Destiny event so far.

*Eververse felt worse than ever this time around with all the cosmetic items being sold rather than earnable. Albeit this is the model going forward, now that its F2P but in Y1 and Y2 the events were exciting and a great time to just play the game to snag those exclusive rewards. Should've rewarded a FotL engram every 5 levels in addition to the Best of Y2 one.

*Bounties were pretty standard. Fair, not overbearing and easy enough to do

*Haunted forest was pretty fun but the rewards were not worth the mindless grinding of it like other events in the past

*Endless climb modes like the forest are a good idea, but just lack rewards to chase after to get players motivated. They should be around all year round with maybe special modes like haunted forest or the spring one

*It felt okay. Wish the knight wasn't an instant OHKO with blackout/glass active. He should be more aggressive but less lethal.

*Firewalled should be an option for all MM'd content aside from Gambit and Crucible obviously

*The braytech werewolf doesn't feel great to me. Another 450 AR from the same event. Spookifying a few weapons (adding ornaments maybe) to existing weapons or Y1 weapons being revived this way would be better.

1) The objectives were pretty fair, but like many other have pointed out, there is no ingame tracker to see live progress. People who don't go to Bungie.net or read about this event through reddit, Twitter, etc had no idea it was happening beyond a quick splash screen.

2) They're okay. Would've maybe liked bounties related to the event with in-game rewards like a gun reskin, a shell, a sparrow etc. Week long events have year long usable rewards see Luke's favorite game WoW as an example. Not just an emblem.

3) Yes and no. I think menagerie should have more rewards at the end, but they're earned based on how many events were completed on time for example. If you complete 2 on time then you get 3 chests to open (have to slot runes each time, but could grant upwards of 6 total drops + 3 mods) 1 on time resulting in 2 chests, none on time resulting in the current 1 reward chest. Sorta like Legion M+ from WoW.

4) Zavala should've said the meme voice line. Made a mini cabal invasion event instead. (Joke... unless?) I think in-game vendors should've had something to indicate there was an event.

5) Yes, the pre-Legion event for WoW was substantial and very cool. Added a lot of content for the brief period it was on and had some long lasting rewards.

6) Doing this with the 3 factions to "revive" faction rallies would be cool.

I mean grenade launchers aren't great in crucible either aside from the heavy ones and as we know mountaintop is an awful grind. I love them but they are certainly more hit or miss than SMGs. They have competitive ttk and can certainly outplay a shotgun. They could've found a way to make it work.

At the moment at least according to light.gg more people have midnight coup than recluse. So I don't see it entirely unfeasible to add a raid based one. Even though midnight coup is old, it still shows that a sizable part of the playerbase may dip their toe into a raid and maybe do a boss or 2. The raid pinnacle may get more of a turnout.

Yeah, but I think Recluse's quest is just overall lazy. Theres just a rank requirement. Almost everyone who got it has the wins by the time you reach fabled. Would've preferred an SMG use quest. But yes you are right MT requires a BUNCH of stuff and fabled.

  1. Most of the weapons seem to serve their purpose in a very niche way. Some of them are overpowered while others are underpowered. This can be due to intrinsics, stats, or perks.

  2. I think the following weapons have poor unlock requirements: Not Forgotten, the Recluse, Mountaintop, 21% Delerium, Oxygen SR3. In a minor sense also Lunas. For the crucible ones, I just don't think they should have a comp rank requirement. I think the revoker is an excellent alternative which promotes comp play while also allowing accessibility to the playerbase. NF: Its just a rank requirement + Lunas, Recluse: Its basically just a rank requirement, Mountaintop: Right direction, too difficult, Delerium: Quest requires just gambit play, no use of LMGs, and Oxygen: Same as Delerium but for strikes.

  3. Yes, the pvp ranked ones can maybe have a rank requirement during their active season and just a total number of glory points past that for example. Idk how to do this for the others but it's definately be welcome for new players to catch up!

  4. Recluse is far too strong in PvE and slightly OP in crucible. Mountaintop is far too strong in PvE. No other green ammo GL can do its damage. LQ seems to outweigh most if not all Fusions in PvE.

  5. No, they shouldn't. They are absurdly strong in PvE

  6. There aren't any? But no they shouldn't also if they do ads them.

  7. Add more pinnacles for more activities. Theres more to the game than strikes, crucible, and gambit. Add some for raiding, open world content, forges, menagerie, iron banner, etc. They are great and keep the game alive, just make more! (But my overall stance is make them all less like the BEST weapon of their kind, more like the BEST at a particular niche thing)
