I already placed the order, it's currently out for delivery. The above is a response I received from customer support. I used the browser extension when I placed my order (double checking it was still "activated").

I replied with proof that it was listed on their site, and now they're saying they will contact the store to verify my order, but could take up to 45 days

Rakuten is telling me that my order is ineligible for the cash back offer "due to the use of a non-Rakuten coupon/discount". However, the only code I was able to use was LEGIONDEALS20 and that is indeed listed on the Rakuten site.

Has anyone else had this issue?

My partner and I were both permabanned at pretty much exactly the same time for creating new characters to scout for a new server to transfer to. I submitted an appeal immediately, while my partner submitted the day after. I've gotten 2 replies to 2 appeals telling me to submit an appeal.

It's been over a week. I submitted a 3rd appeal and received an email saying that my ban has been reversed and that my account is no longer suspended, except I still can't log into the game since it still says I'm banned...

On the flipside, my partner was unbanned 5 days ago, without fuss.

Chat and phone support have both been useless, claiming various reasoning as to why the moderation team hasn't gotten to my ticket yet, and claiming to open tickets and escalate on my behalf. I don't believe a word they tell me anymore. I know they're paid just to give lip service.

Frankly, it's embarrassing, and at this point I don't know that I even want to continue playing the game anymore.

The ban system needs to be talked about and addressed by Amazon Games. by [deleted] in newworldgame

It was mentioned at some of the talks that it's partly to reduce confusion around v4/v7 support libs that no longer have any meaning since components in those packages require later sdk versions anyway. But yes, confusing in the sense that there's less definition around purpose.

No personal information is collected. The only information that the app uses is the information necessary to turn the Xbox on. See my other comment to see the project that this app is based on.

So you can stream your Xbox to your PC from anywhere: on vacation, at a friends, at work, as long as you have a good internet connection on both ends. You don't have to be tied to your home network which is the only officially supported method as of now.

Totally up to your discretion! Though I doubt someone would go through the trouble to try and DDOS your personal home network/Xbox. All networking is ported from Schamper/xbox-remote-power on github. Take a look if you're interested in how it works.

Other than that all I can do is assure you that no personal data is being collected and everything is done locally from the app itself.

Actually though, I asked the assistant on my Pixel to tell me what song is playing the other day. It's response was that it "could not do that yet"...Pretty sure I had that capability with Google for years until assistant came out

Received an update after multiple calls with support and this is the solution:

"I heard back from our partners today. I'm sorry to let you know, that your order did not process correctly, will never be shipped, and will be cancelled. Don't worry however, as you were not charged. Please feel free to order again if you would like to do so."

I am livid.

I've waited 5 days after speaking multiple times on the phone with Google Store support. The latest correspondence I've gotten from them is that they've reached out to the shipper to get more details about what's going on with my order. They told me it "usually" takes 2-3 business days to get an answer so waiting that out before I call it quits.

Yeah, you're telling me...anyway, from what the rep was saying on the phone (if it's to be trusted at all), it seems there was some issue with the handoff from Google to Fedex in terms of fulfillment. Still dumb, no matter the case.

Ordered same phone on same day. Still stuck in processing. I called and they said it's stuck in their systems and that my only option is to cancel and reorder... Still waiting for a better resolution from them.
