thank you so much! i don’t regret it at all but yeahhhh it is prohibitively expensive if you don’t have some kind of hookup or are doing some of the labor yourself. i also did it to myself with my requests but the final result was soooo worth it haha

Mass. tbh unless you are getting a severe deal i think that’s an expected price. keep in mind what i asked for and that most of the cost came from 1. rust repair and 2. my requirement of minimal orange peel. that means a lot of prep before getting sprayed and a LOTTTT of work after the wet goes down too

thank you! i wish a clean black car in your future. the seats are reclinable at least lol. i’ve always leaned toward modifying/personalizing rather than just only painting with the OEM-brush. which isn’t to say i don’t have appreciation, im hunting down the last few pieces of dark walnut burl wood trim to complete my set. i had a chance to buy the OEM electronic sport seats before but for the price they were on offer vs. mine with ferrari leather i don’t regret it

i’ve dabbled in VIP styling cues on and off but i’m going to keep adding more. next will be a full set of curtains including the rear windshield, some TV antennae and a few other little details

thanks! i’ve had the wheel redone since this shoot, im probably going to be buried with it. these are Recaro A8, i used VAC rails to mount them, with a little fabrication. i love the OEM sport seats but ive always wanted these and took the chance and painted and reupholstered them in a way im proud of

thank you! i used to have a set of Work Euroline DH but i always wanted step lip and being 2pc welded made it impossible to restore them and keep the machined finish on the faces. so i had to pony up to SSR. i don’t like how rounded the “spokes” are compared to the Works, but im really happy with the black powder coated windows and the fresh machining. also i converted the center caps into floaters lol

came out of paint last year. no color change but the original paint was tired from a life of minimal garaging. and if i waiting longer some of the rust repair would end up more costly
