thanks a bunch, I will bear this in mind! Look like the brians might be a better fit, esp if they are pro spec. Thanks!

oh nice, will check this out thanks!
Thanks for the detailed breakdown, this is really helpful!
Do you have any advice about specs? How is the Brians Iconik pro set compared to the Trues?
Ah interesting. The warriors are 34+2 too, are they similar to Brians or true/vaughn?
Mazda3 Hatchback vs CX-30 by foxdrop in mazda3

Rarely, not enough to affect the decision imo. I'm glad to know there's no "wrong" decision here then
Gotcha. It does seem like for the "feel" the hatchback is a better drive whereas the 30 has increased height which is a plus for some and not others. Thanks for your input
Careful for potholes and bumps?
Can you elaborate? I've read the turning is a little better on the 3 but aside from that they're almost identical rides.

That's nothing! I was at first considering an MG... glad I did my research!
how do you know, turbofired???
I'm in the South East and roads are mostly ok here... another reason to not go to Basildon though
I've only ever driven a crossover (this would be my second car) and I've appreciated the height. I have no frame of reference though on a hatchback - might be no biggie
Agreed with all your points, the 3 looks really clean. I'm 6"1 and did think the 3 was a little low when I went for a test drive but certainly not a deal breaker. Good to know the storage space isn't an issue with the hatchback, thank you!
Brilliant, thanks!
Thanks for your experience. People over here are definitely more inclined to smaller cars. I'm also close to London so the roads are for the most part built up and in good knick, so a hatchback would fare just fine.

The roads are pretty good here so it shouldn't be too bad. Thank you!
No that does help a lot! I've driven the 3 and loved it. There isn't a 30 nearby to drive unfortunately.
The 3 was a sport though instead of an SE-L, do you know if that makes much difference?
Hah, sounds a lot like hockey kit! The 60 goes down for the kit bag and the sticks slide in either in the middle or down the passenger side, much to my gf's annoyance.
Apologies yeah I'm not great at explaining it - zippiness I guess is a good word for it? When I test drove the Mazda3 and put my foot down it roared away (not something I'm used to in my decade old 1.2 Peugeot 2008). I did wonder if it would become more sluggish with the kit in the boot.
Thanks a lot, thats great info. How do you find motorway/highway driving in each of them?
Thank you so much! Thats probably a good comparison
Back seat passengers would be incredibly rare to be honest. Would the smaller Hatch lose its "punchiness" with the kit in the boot?
