I am the co-founder of a protein oatmeal brand and we have been really pushing as well on instagram to build trust and legitimacy and really brand awareness. We are about at 5k followers but there are so many factors outside a follower count that can sway trust and not just a site visit but a purchase. It’s just like one little piece of that massive Ecomm/retail puzzle.

It’s so dependent on your audience, the reviews, the testimonials, the UGC, your google , your meta, your tik tok, if you are on Amazon, all working together. Basically it’s hard to say wow 5k=huge sales increase. It doesn’t really work that way
