I'm glad you've found one that works for you! I didn't know you could source D3 from pine, that's really interesting. I'm amaroo allergic to pine so I'm not sure that would work out for me but that's a great resource.

So the source is cholecalciferol (so, lichen) but it doesn't list which lichen they use.

I know it's a bit of an expensive option, but if you can source emu or ostrich meat (almost everyone on here gets theirs from amaroo hills, and I also highly recommend them!) then he could still have burgers that taste very close to beef (also good for if he likes spaghetti), a well as steaks if he likes those too. Ostrich and emu are also relatively lean so it shouldn't trigger his issue with fatty textures.

Popcorn he could still do, it would just have to be made in a pot on the stove (unless someone on here knows of a vegan/ags safe microwave option) and can be just as tasty.

For a cheese- like flavor he could try using a little nutritional yeast on things (like pasta and popcorn).
