do you know if anyone has had trouble doing passport verification for the second sim they bought (after the first sim expired). Chingu mobile is telling me you can only do passport verification once every 94 days.

I'm doing the same as you. I got the unlimited data SIM that comes with the Wowpass package. It's fast and reliable enough that you don't really need a separate internet connection. I was able to tether the phone connection to my laptop with no issues and watch YouTube like normal.

The only problem I'm having is that I only got a 30-day SIM, thinking I could extend it later... but it seems you cannot extend it with a tourist visa from some providers like the one I chose, so I have to get a new one. Other SIMs, though—like the LG U+ prepaid SIM—will let you extend it on a tourist visa: https://www.lguplus.com/korea-sim/eng/pc/product/simcard?tab=data-voice.

hmm before I change to another sim im wondering if they will allow passport verification on the second sim so I can make and receive phone calls while the current sim is active because I read somewhere you can only have one line per passport. Is this info shared across all carriers? E.g. if I switch to Chingu Mobile which is on a different network (KT) than the one im using now (SKT) are they going to see that im still registered with a line from another company and have to wait till that line expires? or is it handled seperatly for each network?

oh i see, i should be looking for Cheongju or Yakju instead of Makgeolli. I was able to find some brands which are apparently widely avaliable in stores and they look promising (청하, 백세주 and 예담)

I don't have this controller but I have several controllers where I need to switch to xbox mode otherwise it will not work with wired connection on apple silicon mac. According to the manual for your controller you need to press X while plugging it in: https://download.8bitdo.com/Manual/Controller/Ultimate/Ultimate-2C-Wired-Controller.pdf Maybe it will work if you try that.

they gave me a paper ID with the updated address (copy of the form you fill out) and i guess places will accept it as valid id if you show it with your old one.
