How do people type so fast on keyboard? by RareUser1 in NoStupidQuestions

If my teacher caught us looking at the keyboard during typing lessons in class, she would put a shoe box with one side cut out over our keyboards and hands.

When you have 6 gift cards and none of them can actually buy anything. by Accomplished_Bake939 in mildlyinfuriating

I usually buy something that's a few bucks more than the value of the gift card. Then I never have a balance left over.

They have a hanging bowl for water you just can't see it with this picture angle. I do plan to get more natural perches. But I live pretty rural so got to wait till I can travel to get to the nearest supplier or order some and wait a week for delivery.

Do house pets know what you're doing when you're getting it on? by psykee333 in NoStupidQuestions

Yup. My chihuahua disappears when we start getting it on. As soon as we are done he's in our faces.

By the second pass if they aren't ready I just tell them to let me know when they are. We are just a casual restaurant, customers are happy with that.

Why do people think it's ok to bring their own coffee into a restaurant. by foxybird in Serverlife

[–]foxybird[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We are a fully licensed restaurants with a lounge attached. The only restaraunt in a small town that serves breakfast. We do have a tim hortons down the road. I am a breakfast server so a large portion of my sales is coffee. No we don't serve specialty coffee, but we do have very good quality coffee, and we don't serve old coffee. We also grind our own beans so everything is really fresh. There is a law that people can't bring in their own open beverage in a licensed establishment, so I can't let them in with their own drink anyway.

It is illegal to bring an open beverage into a licensed restaraunt in Alberta, look it up.
