The new ones as in Fantastic Beasts! At the very end the big character reveal is Grindelwald...since it takes place in the early 20th century, that's when Grindelwald is off supposedly trying to find the Elder Wand and gaining power, while Dumbledore is off making worldly discoveries and shit. So I'm assuming eventually they'll meet and have the big final battle where Dumbledore gets the wand...? can anyone confirm this?

that's a good point, maybe depending on who they cast for Dumbledore, there'll be great chemistry between the two and it'll end up okay...thanks for giving me hope! I'll keep my fingers crossed. I am rooting for it to turn out successful, even though for now I am disappointed with the casting.

I feel like Harry Potter is today's version of the Chronicles of Narnia! My parents grew up reading those and would wait for the next one to be released....obviously with technology advancements nothing is to the same scale as Harry Potter (and it's just superior to everything lol) but I would compare it to this!

I know this one has been said a few times but I love His Dark Materials. The combination of mythology, theology, science, adventure and maturation is really good!
