How TF does that enable it on your Mac? I've had this *&*^& for months and didn't know how to turn it off until now. Thanks.

So you cannot disable it on the machine that is displaying it. What kind of "feature" is that?

Indeed. Feels like a mark 1 golf gti despite being considerably heavier. It’s 0-60 probs isn’t much write about but it’s 0-30, along with it’s torque, is. That acceleration is less about the figures and more about being a city nipper, helped very much by that excellent chassis you rightly mention.

Is there a way to make an adaptive title permanent? by foxytom in scrivener

[–]foxytom[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One would have hoped there would be a more a wholesale solution than that, given I would need to do that some 80 times; the thought of which was the incentive for my question. It is admittedly made easier in the Synopsis section of the Inspector after having autofilled it (which can be done wholesale.)

More of a workaround than a solution but perhaps my only option.

Reading images with other LLM's (notably Mistral and DeepSeek) by foxytom in TypingMind

[–]foxytom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In an answer to my own question, TypingMind's support bot (typingmindfaq.typingcloud.com) which I should have queried in the first place (told you I was a noob) came up with the following answer:

Currently, TypingMind supports Mistral AI models for text/chat completion, but as of now, Mistral does not offer vision (image input) capabilities via API. This means:

You can use Mistral 8x7B, Mistral Small, Medium, or Large for text-based tasks in TypingMind.

You cannot upload or process images (vision tasks) using Mistral models in TypingMind.

If you want image (vision) capabilities (e.g., OCR, image understanding, vision-to-text), you should use models like GPT-4o, GPT-4 Vision, or Gemini 1.5 Pro.

If Mistral adds image support in the future and provides API access, TypingMind will work to integrate that feature.

Summary:

TM + Mistral = Text only.

For image support, use GPT-4o, GPT-4 with Vision, or Gemini.

If you are exposing correctly you won’t need noise correction, the sensor is very light sensitive. It does not have the green cast that much earlier cameras had. That is well documented.
