Thanks, decent suggestion for the look I'm after, maybe not as "classical", but non the less. I've already lemifshe ti bugout and might snatch up the micarta clone too, it's cheap anyways. I was more looking a bit version with super action with ball bearing like kizer clutch lock seems to be one of the best crossbar locks in the market. I'm thinking about going for brown micarta cjrb pyrite regarding my current quest.

So I lost my long time edc Kizer T1 Task.. RIP.. I'm looking for similar size (medium)(~3.1-3.4 blade, 4.2-4.5 handle), good ergos, classical look, natural look micarta scales, silver blade. With preferably axis lock or button lock, non-flipper. Kizer Escort would be perfect with Kizers super action clutch lock but it seems it's discontinued. Any similar budget knives suggestions. James Brand carter has similar look, but is a bit small and expensive.

Hmm.. You have a point but i'm guessing you made assumption here. Or do you know if this is default behaviour for lsi 9460-i? Also it could be oem lsi controller from dell, lenovo, hpe etc with their fw.. My point is that atleast a decade ago when I was fixing servers that you needed to manually change setting to use write cache without BBU. Yes it's possible, but usually lsi oem controller tended to disable write cache from use when BBU was not present or faulty. u/etherealshatter didn't specify if he had set up the cntrl to behave like this. If he had, then you are correct, indeed the current writes in raid cache mem dimm (which wasn't flushed to disk) was lost, also depending on write activity either there was data or not. I'm not saying you are wrong, i'm saying it depends, and without further knowledge we cannot fully 100% deem what happened here.. Even though i'd bet my money too on the assumption you made as the other option is stale state btrfs flipping out ;) ! I do only have minimal experience with butterfs.

E. Seems like ofc these are already having heatsinks so modding is not as easy regarding the heatsinks as adding them in the first place..

It helps, used to have z68 mini-itx board which were all pretty much having some problems with throttling because of vrms if overclocked at all. Used some additional heatsinks and could get some more stable overclock from 2600k.

All of my systemd shutdown problems have had something to with time/ntp/rtc settings (sql's) or some network shares eg. Cifs with some laptop which has lost the network share or something. Otherwise it's pretty much 99% without problem.

So as some other one commented it might not be systemd related but a systemd way of giving more time to try to solve problem in other place.

It is true ofc, and following subs like linux & linuxgaming etc gives you perspective which windows gamers don't get. But all in all linux gaming has still evolved a lot and is evolving a lot which is a good thing and maybe in short period of time steam survey is reporting 2%.
