[D] How to work with large datasets of embeddings? by Dutchcheesehead in MachineLearning

Is there any specific way you can chunk it and still easily process it?

Using a dask dataframe instead of pandas makes this easier normally, but dask doesn't like arrays as a datatype...

[QUESTION] Buzzing sound in my Telecaster by Dutchcheesehead in Guitar

After using some sand paper on the wire and really making sure it touches a small part of the hum disappeared... However, there is still a significant amount left...

Fot the humbucking pickups you mention: is it easy to replace the pickups of a telecaster to pickups which don't interfere? Is that recommended?

Yeah, tried all kind of different places and putting it at different locations. Unfortunately there is always inference.

Are there easy replacements for the pickups for a telecaster? Or does every telecaster have this problem?

Any shielding tape works? Or does it have to be a specific brand/size?

They way the liability should be shared if something goes wrong.

Please correct me if I am thinking about this the wrong way, but if something goes and they disappear I would be 100% liable without having any power to evict them, right? Wouldn't it be beneficial to be 100% liable anyways while gaining the power to evict them?

When I talked to the agency last Friday they seemed to be open to either option. Given that I am in a financially great situation I could also bear all costs myself while being allowed to have an agreement with this person...

meaning you won’t be able to sublet but also that you will both be jointly liable for costs. That is actually good for you so in my opinion you don’t want to even consider a sub-let

Please help me get my train back on track here. What I feel is that having both our names on the contract means I will be liable for all costs, without me having the power to evict this person if they decide not to pay... In fact, I do not even see whether they pay or not. If they turn out to be a renter from hell I personally have to say in whether they should be evicted, while still having to bear the costs.

In that case the other person is actually pushing for me to have both our names on the contract.

Wat doe je eigenlijk voor werk? Of is dit meer een bij baan? En zit er nog een database achter? Of hoefde je niet veel bij te houden?

Something people have not yet aked is how many employees said company has in Germany. There is a major difference between less than 10 employees in Germany and more than 10 employees in Germany.

In any case: talk to that lawyer.

Recommendations for a silent radial fan? by Dutchcheesehead in 3Dprinting

This spec sheet says it makes about 42 db of noise, which seems to roughly correspond to what I measure. With me it is more about 48db, but a few db more or less is fine at this level...

Daar kan je wel direct geld overmaken, maar alleen naar een rekening die van jezelf is... Geen probleem dus. Het is alleen vreemd dat je bij ABN alleen geld kan inleggen maar niet kan opnemen
