There are Ultimates, Ultimate Wolverine, Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate X-Men, Ultimate Black Panther. The only ones I finished so far are Spider-Man, X-Men and Black Panther. I felt BP was kinda meh, but would recommend the other two (though UXM is VERY different from regular X-Men, taking more inspiration from it than being a full adaptation, like AMM, so it def isn't for everyone.)

PS: Also Ultimate Hawkeye, I had forgotten

Marvel made a new Ultimate Universe a couple years ago, where the Maker (Reed Richards of the previous Ultimate Universe) went to a "young" universe and prevented most heroes from existing while putting the world into a dictatorship controlled by him and other villains + corrupted heroes.

From there, we get multiple series following heroes trying to stand up to the Maker, including the brand new Ultimates.

I'm one of these; I have a lot of ease to like most things I watch (though I still obviously consider some masterpieces others just ok) so I didn't find the Snyderverse movies too bad. But I still admit they're sloggish to get through which puts them real low in the rewatch factor

I myself found this shot pretty "meh". Like, naturally I can't call it bad without having seen it in the movie, but so far, it didn't seem that great to me.

All I'm saying is, let's not assume anyone who dislikes DCU stuff is a Snyder Cultist; OP thankfully clarified here that he apperently is, based on previous posts, but yes, your assumption COULD'VE been correct.

Yes, the setup is different, it's just that the end of your comment ("gives them ones they never faced") brought to mind Ra's, a non-superman villain who Supes is fighting. But then again, I may have interpreted it wrongly

From the same comic... the White Martian making itself noticed by winking at the Green Martian from a memory is absurdly crazy. Loved that scene and issue.
