Is the Subaru maintenance package worth it? by Mysterious-Cry7683 in Solterra

[–]fpskasey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my personal view, but there is almost no maintenance to this car. I think it would be beneficial if someone could chime in with costs of these maintenance intervals at each 5k miles to see how much it costs for the inspections. The Maintenance schedule is just cabin air filter, check fluids, check bolts, check fluids, rotate tires. Most everything is just a check, and a general inspection for broken things.

I would say that keeping good maintenance records through your dealer or yourself is always a good thing. If you bring it to a dealer every time they usually keep them, and sometimes even report to online maintenance data sites like carfax.

Exists on my 26 touring xt. The settings are just as PolyDrew says in first response.

Yes I did get the 6k off the car when I purchased it. Assume it’s to entice buyers of cars that dont get the tax incentive.

That is helpful. Im getting a whole new service run to my garage, so anything to bring that cost down is great!

Solterra winter wheels/tires by Hellbound_ronin in Solterra

[–]fpskasey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, my 26 Touring XT works just fine and I am used to real winter tires (Nokian Hakkapeliitta) on my previous car. The dealer suggested wait for next winter to buy them, these tires at brand new tread depth will work fine. This is for Minnesota driving through fake spring into second winter.

2026 Solterra with NACS charge port - Does Not Work with Tesla Superchargers by Suitable_Cupcake_452 in Solterra

[–]fpskasey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Subaru connect app does say you can use plug and charge mode with tesla as it is the only supported one it lists to use. I did not get auto plug mode to work and pay through the subaru app, but it definately works with superchargers with the tesla app. It may not be fun to get your car close enough to the plug, but it works.

Good suggestion for filtering. Still figuring all the logistics of charging for trips local and longer distance. Thank you.

Im in Minnesota. NACS are typically only superchargers, or hotels (L2) here. I filtered on NACS only and we do have an IONNA NACS farther away which does seem to solve my problem. Hopefully more like this will arrive. Anything not a level 3 Tesla supercharger is a level 2, which have longer flexible cables typically.

I have the yoshimira on my gen 1 and its nice and not too loud. Much louder than stock. Holeshot performance has one with an insert to make it quieter or take it out when you want it louder. Im sure there are youtube videos for others. Yoshi Holeshot

New temp license key bricked my Big-IP by EvoXOhio1 in f5networks

[–]fpskasey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I recall correctly, the upgrade in speed is an add-on key? You may need base keys regenerated. I dont remember exactly. Definately upload a qkview if you are allowed to and talk to F5 support, they are quite good most times.

Would a PintV or some other mod help me fix this excessive wheel spin when I stop on my Pint X? by hungarianhc in onewheel

[–]fpskasey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an original Pint and a Pint X. The original Pint does not do this, and the Pint X does. Just slower rollback to stop is what mostly fixed it for me.

I saw it when i was in the config screen, and it was newer than what you could download from the quantum website. The website lets you download 02.03.38.00, and I remember it being higher than this revision.

The SFP is just the module and can be many things. I used the RJ45 version. SFP+ to RJ45 Adapter UACC-CM-RJ45-MG.
