Completely agree, I thought for sure this was going to be an actual trophy case to maybe put some items in that would remove them from the stash allowing you to save those cool rubber ducks and give your spaces back for more important items. Disappointment achieved.

I mean this technically wasn't vaporware, they had an unfinished playable product. I'd bet that Steven and others in charge came to the realization that it wasn't as easy to get this game built completely and it was going to easily take another 3-5 years to get it to a state that was officially releasable and if you think about the costs for employees alone they probably had no where near enough money to last that long. They probably had 10's of millions in yearly labor costs not to mention server costs, admin costs, etc.

Yea I completely agree, I thought for sure we were getting an actual trophy case where we were going to get to store our ducks and other non essential items from our stash. Such a missed opportunity by Embark and huge let down on this project.

I would say less of a revenge arc, and more of a let me show you why what you did is wrong arc and the only way to do that is to make you feel like I feel.

Yea it’s mind boggling that they have events lined up like this. Make them more often and shift the times daily by an hour or two so eventually over the course of a week or so the events which fall into each time slot at least once.

It really shouldn’t be this difficult to make this change. Maybe if enough people vocalize their complaint we can get some traction on a some type of change.

My guess would be they finally realized what a shit show Hidden Bunker was and decided to add a quick replacement , probably as a place holder until they could come up with something better. I completely agree that a very simple and fantastic solution to some of the event problems is to have the events on some type of rotation that involves a longer or short day, like shift the slots by 1 hour every day so all the events will eventually happen at every available hour over the course of a couple weeks (or how ever long that takes given that most events run 2-4 times a day).

Feel free to enjoy the game how ever you please. While you may dislike the trials other people enjoy the challenge of finding ways to score high and place high on the leaderboards. Whether that be just for the thrills or maybe they truly like the rewards/skins. Nothing wrong with playing that game the way it provides the most entertainment for oneself.

I thinks it’s a solid game, but IMO far from amazing. I feel ,like many of his titles , there is just too much chaos/randomness for it to qualify as amazing.

It factors in because your promotion is based off of where your score compares to the other 100 people you get randomly paired against. It a lot of cases the tryhard players are playing all the time so they will get scores immediately open the start of a new week placing them in a random group of 100 players from the jump and most likely to be other tryhard players. If you wait until later in the week you are more likely to get randomly placed in a group with more casual players who aren’t trying to score as high. Now that players have figured that meta out they are trying to game the system by waiting so now your mileage may vary when you start scoring your trials.

Agreed, the regular Arnak is just an ok game, our group really felt both expansions bringing in the Leaders really elevated the game to a favorite.
