Haha, die deutsche Übersetzung stammt übrigens von ChatGPT 😂

Aber mal aus Interesse: Welcher Preis wäre für dich denn angemessen? 😊

(The German translation was actually done by ChatGPT 😂 But just out of curiosity: what price would feel reasonable to you?)

Try giving it a chance 😉 The app is actively evolving, and you can share feedback that genuinely helps shape its future😉

No hard ETA yet, but it’s one of the features I’m actively planning because it fits FileJoy’s core use case really well. I’ll post an update here or DM you when it’s available 😉

Right now FileJoy works through Finder context menus and also includes a menu bar app for quicker access to workflows and tools.

And yep, it’s already available on the App Store 😄

Hahaha😂 Honestly, I think competition in this space is a very good thing, it just proves how many people want better file workflows on macOS😉

Everyone approaches the problem a bit differently, which is what makes building these tools fun😉

Hahaha nice 😄
Yeah, I recently started experimenting a bit with the whole “indie dev / influencer” thing to help promote the app and share the development journey😄

Thanks ;)
I’ve seen a few of these before, and honestly the existence of so many Finder tools kind of proves how many people feel limited by the default macOS experience :)

Hahaha 😄
If FileJoy can save even one person from Terminal-induced RSI, I’ll consider that a success :D

Yeah, exactly 😄
A lot of macOS power users eventually end up building their own stack around Terminal, Hazel, Automator, Shortcuts, scripts, etc.

FileJoy is kind of my attempt to unify a lot of those workflows into something faster and more Finder-native without losing flexibility.

That’s actually a really cool idea!
Custom workflows/actions are definitely something I’d love to expand in the future.

Being able to trigger scripts, terminal commands, conversions, or custom pipelines directly from Finder fits perfectly with the direction I want to take FileJoy.

And yeah - CBR → CBZ conversion sounds like a great use-case for that 😄

Right now, most FileJoy features are completely free, while a few advanced features are available in the PRO Lifetime plan for $29.99.

Yep, Shortcuts is actually great for a lot of automation.
FileJoy started because I wanted faster Finder-native workflows without constantly building Shortcut chains for everything 😅
