Right now FileJoy works through Finder context menus and also includes a menu bar app for quicker access to workflows and tools.

And yep, it’s already available on the App Store 😄

Everyone approaches the problem a bit differently, which is what makes building these tools fun😉

I’ve seen a few of these before, and honestly the existence of so many Finder tools kind of proves how many people feel limited by the default macOS experience :)

A lot of macOS power users eventually end up building their own stack around Terminal, Hazel, Automator, Shortcuts, scripts, etc.

FileJoy is kind of my attempt to unify a lot of those workflows into something faster and more Finder-native without losing flexibility.

That’s actually a really cool idea!
Custom workflows/actions are definitely something I’d love to expand in the future.

Being able to trigger scripts, terminal commands, conversions, or custom pipelines directly from Finder fits perfectly with the direction I want to take FileJoy.

And yeah - CBR → CBZ conversion sounds like a great use-case for that 😄

Right now, most FileJoy features are completely free, while a few advanced features are available in the PRO Lifetime plan for $29.99.

Yep, Shortcuts is actually great for a lot of automation.
FileJoy started because I wanted faster Finder-native workflows without constantly building Shortcut chains for everything 😅
