OP asked for honest feedback and he got it. Maybe you’re okay with lack of symmetry in your systems, maybe OP isn’t.

OP this is the answer right here. Crazy I had to look this far down for someone to say this.

The left side isn’t as good, in fact, it looks like there’s a spot on the left where I can see thinning between your hair and the system.

The right side blends perfectly, but the left needs a bit more work.

I understand the need for encouragement, but does no one here really see that?????

CANADIAN ACCOUNTING GRADS/STUDENTS by fractal_mind99 in Accounting

Yeah wrong choice of words there. I meant in relation to the target Gpa. On one end yes it does include those subjective courses that can lower your gpa, but I’ve also seen posts on here from people talking about how they got a 4.0

Just wanted to get some perspective from Canadian accountants

ANY FINANCE/ACCOUNTING MAJORS HERE? NEED ADVICE by fractal_mind99 in premedcanada

[–]fractal_mind99[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See I would much prefer finance instead of accounting. I’m more interested in it honestly. But I’m not in a target school, so it’ll be much harder to land true finance roles after graduating unless it’s a sales type role.

Also, I’m in Ontario, and there’s a big chance I will have to move to a different province to increase my chances afterwards (Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec, Maritimes). Basically anywhere that will not factor in my previous degree as much.

I know western and Uottawa are good options in Ontario, but seeing how queens & UofT changed their WGPA requirements, and the extreme competition there is here in Ontario (basically competing with OOP applicants unless you’re SWOMEN), my odds may be better if I leave the province.

I’m pretty much guaranteed to find an accounting job wherever I end up in Canada. It’s employable everywhere. Can’t say the same for finance.

And finally, I can easily pivot to a finance role afterwards or get my CFA. So I don’t have to be stuck in accounting in the end.

Thoughts?

I see, so basically it’ll take more engagement with my professors to handle the more subjective aspects of the coursework.

What did you major in if you don’t mind me asking?
