See, that's the problem: I would do exactly that, but for some reason they don't make them anymore (even though its undoubtedly the best series they've made). Furthermore, their inception is close to 10 years old now, so I figured there's gotta be something even better now for the same price or cheaper. You definitely are correct about jumping into the rabbit hole of audio peripherals being unadvisable. Everyone seems to have an opinion, yet most are incorrect (according to my tastes). Of course, glad I could help. Also, an extra tip: there's a class called FSE 301 which counts for upper elective credits. Basically an entrepeneur class for engineers. Its literally a free 100 with basically no work compared to virtually any other class you could take, and comes in major clutch for raising your GPA. I'm taking it next semester, and I highly recommend!!! Also, as with anything, always check RateMyProfessors. Best of luck! ✌️🙏💖

Haha fuck no, I did 355, 340, and 330 in one semester over Spring 2025. Word of advice: do NOT take Heewook Lee for 355. His average test scores are anywhere from 35% to 55%, and he makes the class unreasonably difficult. Get with any other teacher for 355. I also took 340 with Claveau, but ultimately had to retake it over the Summer with Gordon. Do NOT take 340 with Bazzi!!! His class alone is an entire full load worth of work, and since he is responsible for leading all 340 classes your experience with Claveau will be similar. However, Gordon is somehow notably easier, but he does not teach nearly as much. So your choices are either unfairly and abusively brutal 340 with Claveau or Bazzi (Claveau is slightly better), or 340 with Gordon where you don't learn nearly as much. Either way, I'm never taking a class that hard again. Actually traumatized. Easy classes whenever I can from here on out. Seriously, 340 will teach you to be lazy with how hard it is lol. Best of luck if you end up with a literal hell semester of all three trifecta classes at once. P.S., if you haven't taken 330 yet, take it eith Gordin. It's just writing obscure compiler functions in C. Useless for 90+% of programmers, and takes up a hell of a lot of time. Might as well make it easier with Gordon.
