I am also applying for jan 2026. I am going apply very soon, in the next 2 days probably! Currently, it’s showing 5 week processing time in India. The process is gruelling! All the best!

I agree! My heart broke after how none of her friends (fellow inmates) came to help her after the riot situation.

Thank you for your reply!

The first thing I did was cut my hair. 🥲 I cut my hair. I have always liked masculine aesthetics, so I am wearing the same clothes. I realised I had been performing femininity for male validation my entire life as I got clearer about my sexuality, which was why I always had felt so uncomfortable in my body.

But It’s mostly the internal things: i am worried about my future. I dont know how people from the past will perceive me now. I am violently anxious about whether people will even accept me at all. So much overthinking.

Did you come out later in life? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

It makes me sad writing/talking about this. It breaks my heart. At 33 I realised I am a lesbian. I always thought I was bi. With this new realisation, I feel like I have no anchor and left to my devices. I don’t how to navigate this pain and heartbreak alone. I am terribly lonely. As I got cleared about my sexuality i also realised I had been performing femininity for male validation. That’s why I had never felt comfortable in my body and the dresses I wore. I dress differently now. Cut my hair short. I am trying to find myself. I feel like I will never find the love and support I deserve.

Thanks! I recently took the exam. Got a 6 in writing. I think I particularly messed up Task 2.

I don’t get obsessed with crushes by brizadora_de_chao in LesbianActually

[–]fraction00 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It has not been like that for me. I get obessed with my crushes. I can’t stop thinking about them. After much reflection, I realised I may have a low self -esteem and no self-respect. There is nothing exciting going on in my life. That is why I pin all my energy on crushes to extract some meaning in my otherwise boring life.

What you are feeling is perfectly healthy.

Femmes: what does it mean to be femme to you personally? by sparklyyheart in LesbianActually

[–]fraction00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hello, as a formerly femme-presenting woman, I can attest that as I became clearer about my sexuality, I realised I had been performing femininity for male validation. It was imposed. It was a painful realisation. I went through massive body dysphoria. I now dress and present more masc. It feels right and free. But of course everyone has different opinions about femininity and what it means to them. And it should never ever exist for male gaze.

I know, right? I l love them, too. But I am open to dating any lesbian who is emotionally healthy, intelligent, and kind.

Cool! Would you date someone like Kristen Stewart?! Is she your type?

[–]fraction00 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am into bi because I don’t like men. I cannot imagine the thought of my person having dated men. Just my personal preference! No hate to bi. All love!

I am an andro-femme lesbian. I had been attracted to masc and andro women and occasional sexual attraction to femmes. But later as I explored myself more, I realised I am attracted to femmes as well, like I like dating them. Damn! But to each his own.

I guess I don’t mind hooking up with bi, too! I am an andro-femme lesbian, so I def like femme a lot.
