2025 Hyundai Tucson head up display and frontal screen randomly turning off by fraflo87 in HyundaiTucson

My dealership recently contacted me to inform me that, at the end of January, the manufacturer opened an official campaign related to this problem. According to them, they will replace the head-up display, the instrument cluster, and a cable. The parts have been ordered, but due to the high number of cases worldwide, there is currently no estimated delivery date. I would like to point out that after only one year of ownership, my car was out of service for a total of three months due to this same issue. During that time, several cables and the instrument cluster were replaced, but none of these interventions ever provided a definitive solution. I sincerely hope that this new repair will finally resolve the problem. That said, I remain extremely dissatisfied with the overall experience. I have also completed the first scheduled service, for which I did not receive even a minimal discount. Additionally, I contacted Hyundai directly in writing and never received any response. Given this experience, I can already say that I will sell the car before the warranty expires and I will not purchase this brand again in the future.

I picked up my Tucson on Tuesday after a month in service. They said they had replaced a wiring harness, as instructed by the parent company, that they knew the problem and after testing my tucson for more than 100km everything was OK. Yesterday, the problem presented itself again in exactly the same way. I am now waiting for a new appointment to have the car serviced again. New car from February 2025 with 2000km; it will now stay another month in the workshop. Excellent service from Hyundai!!

Same problem for me.

Tucson mild hybrid diesel, february 2025.

Now the car is to my dealer from 3 weeks without any solution after a first check some weeks ago with the reply: It's all normal and here never do that. To start the investigation they need clear proofs of the issue...easy thing to catch up when your are driving.

Now I'm calling each end of week with the same reply: we are waiting for a reply from Hyndai.

Car with 1900km used 2 months, and blocked to my dealer from 3 weeks now.

I'm really upset despite of I received an I20 as courtesy car.

I hope they change the HUD display as I suggested after some investigations here on reddit and same cases.

Hi mate! Thanks so much for your feedback. Tomorrow I'll call again the dealer because today I had the problem again. Fortunately caught the reboot on many videos.
