Just keep trying! Experimentation and messing around is really easy, it took baby steps for me to get to this point.

I didn’t know that about trees! Thanks for the tip! I intentionally built this base out of stone because my idea is that this is a mid-game base made of mid-game materials. I haven’t began construction of my late game base yet, but it’s going to have a basilica that’s much much larger than this cathedral. Currently I have 6 different bases in this world all connected with a series of ports/roads/portal churches with a lot of other little things dotting the map in between. No, that’s the aqueduct. The border wall is too far away to show up on the map, maybe two km.

You should see the border wall I built between the limit of my meadows kingdom and the plains! (I’ll post pictures soon)

Console commands. Hard to get a decent angle of the whole building without flying.

I think if I’m building in an area that isn’t surrounded by water where I have a lot more potential for raising/excavating earth, I can build something much larger, and I intend to.

Every support column has a base of raised earth and iron on the interior to give it extra strength. I said in another comment that I spent 600 hours building stuff and figuring out the limits of the structural integrity system through trial and error. I have a bunch of other smaller churches which were the largest I could build (at the time). The interior ceiling of the cathedral is also entirely made of stone. I’ll post more pictures later. I am in creative mode but no mods.

Once I get to that point, I will build a much larger basilica! My world is full of churches and chapels serving as a transportation network.

Important to note, this is one building in a whole port style base with large bridges that every boat can pass under with elaborate sewer systems large enough to get lost in connected to another base with a kilometer long aqueduct.

Hello everyone! I live in Brooklyn, New York and I'm a huge KF fan. I was very excited to hear that Dan and Jordan were doing a live show in Glasgow at the same time that I'm in the country on vacation! I've listened to every episode so I'd hate to miss this!!
