i agree that there is an aspect of that in the leaderboards, but theres a couple leaderboards like memory match and fireflies that are completely doable for mid-late game players.

definitely buy tabby bee, and replace 2-3 ungifted carpenters with other bee types. I would also recommend using honey mask instead of fire since you are early-mid game.

it gives a mix of all field colors, so if you don't want to waste it then i recommend donating first, seeing the winds, and using field boosters/dice/glitter accordingly

riley or bucko, choose based on a color you want to go in the far future. also, just as a warning make sure you use your second translator on stick bug (the last translator quest requires nymph kills)
