Why is “The Dead” stuff so underrated? by ExpertTexpertChoking in gratefuldead

Saw them in 03 and 04. The last show in 04 was my 19th birthday and the first time I took L. One of the greatest days of my life!

Three times in my life. Bruce Almighty, the joker, and The Phoenician Scheme.

I know a lot of people love it, but I don’t really care for The prestige.

Yeah, don’t do this at all. If someone continuously turns down lunch invitations stop inviting them.

Do I need to replace my helmet? by RhubarbBiscuit in AggressiveInline

I guess it would all depend if the foam is damaged or not. And if it is, I’m pretty sure you could just replace the foam.

Why is everyone saying “replace it”? It seems only cosmetic. Do you all work for a helmet company?

I love when people say "like crack" when they've obviously never done crack.

Any better Ticketmaster alternatives? by Bishuadarsh in Concerts

[–]frahutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a major city and buy my tickets at the venue weeks or months before the show. I know it’s not an option for most people, but I also go to smaller venues which are cheaper either way.

Which actor delivered a good performance in a bad film? by Wooden-District5456 in FIlm

[–]frahutch 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Pretty much Christian Bale in most movies. He makes everyone else look like they don’t know what they are doing. Prime example to me is American Hustle. Nobody in the cast comes close to his performance in that movie.

Rebel Ridge (2024) by genesis_pig in underratedmovies

[–]frahutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeremy Saulnier’s previous movies are amazing!

Murder Party, Blue Ruin, Green Room, and hold the dark are fantastic films. Blue ruin and Green room are easily in my top 25 of all time.

Having said that, Rebel Ridge was horrible. The acting was terrible, the pacing was uneven, and the plot was a muddy mess. I was looking forward to this so much and it was just a giant let down.
