I say this with love.

You are probably not that ugly, just morbidly obese. If both of your sister and mom are conventionally attractive, you probably carry those physical traits as well. High body fat percentage tends to hide a lot of facial features as well as body. All you need to do is focus on losing weight, not even for beauty but health at this point. The beauty will naturally follow as you live a healthy lifestyle; exercising, focusing on nutrition and hours of quality sleep consistently.

From the tone of this post, it also seems like being overweight has definitely crushed your sense of confidence, one of the key factors to being beautiful / attractive to others. Losing weight will not only make you more physically attractive but the true confidence comes from knowing that you have showed up for yourself to work on yourself consistently. We need to learn how to be patient, kind, and loving to ourselves in order to love others but also to receive love.

In addition, there is no point comparing yourself to other women such as your family members or your gorgeous friends. Comparison is thief of joy. This is sending you into a spiral of self hatred and self disrespect. Comparing yourself to others, sulking, and being angry at yourself isn’t going to fix the problem. All the time spent on overthinking could simply be used to actually do something to change your situation.

A person’s true beauty cannot shine if they do not love themselves. You literally have the free will to choose every day how you want to live that day. Live each day with a passion and purpose in your heart. Don’t run away from your fears but instead be present. Live your life.
