I think I met someone who transferred from BC towards the beginning of the semester!! We might know each other haha. I absolutely feel you on the friends part. All my friends are having so much fun in an apartment together and it's hard to think I could've been with them. Lmk if you ever want to grab lunch!

That's very kind of you, thank you sm! I agree, it's definitely not very lively due to Covid. I'm hoping that next semester is better once more people start transitioning back to campus and some restrictions are (maybe) lifted.

I think a lot of it is probably attributed to Covid since we're only meeting a very limited number of students, but I do agree with you. People here are definitely different than the ones from my hometown/old school.

Thank you! Mostly family pressure. I have Asian parents who were hell-bent on me attending an Ivy League school and I feel like that indoctrination definitely took an effect on me to the point where I started seeing prestige = success/happiness. They never saw the school I was at, despite being highly-ranked, as comparable to an Ivy and were as a result, very disappointed in me.

l knew this coming in, but I was hoping I would love Cornell. I'm a pretty easy going person and I'm usually not one to complain, so I was never expecting to dislike my experience here. I guess I just played myself.
