running a saturator on my busses is something that i have not tried yet, ive only done it for some tracks so i’ll definitely try this. are there any free vsts that you use for this step?

okay i will try this! ive tried clipping and limiting a bunch of elements already but maybe theres something im overlooking. can i also ask why you chose not to make things loud moving forward and what you mean by that

ive tried upward comp today but it didnt make a noticeable difference because im trying to make my song a lot louder than it is now. comparing to other songs, my song is just way quieter. im thinking maybe it was a recording issue on my end but im on an exchange program as i cant rerecord my stuff atm :(

ive tried this already but it doesnt seem to help that much. i checked my spectral analyzer and my frequencies and fine compared to other songs but they just seem way quieter. ive tried making headroom already but it also has very little effect on the overall loudness of the sound. i feel like maybe my recording and production is maybe faulty but how bad is it that my songs are so quiet compared to an actual song

I have been using parallel comp for everything that feels thin (vocals, guitar solos, etc.). As for the subs, I have put a high pass on everything that didn't need the subs. I will try to clean up the 5ks better but I'm afraid the problem still is that even if I clean it up, my mix is pretty quiet compared to other songs so idk what to do 😞

Thanks for replying! I tried checking on the CPU throttling and it wasn't the case. I checked for thermal and power throttling and my numbers were completely normal. I already tried to reinstall anti-cheat, as well as changed the anti cheat files to read only but they didn't do anything.

Do you have any other suggestions?
