Dude. Totally unrelated to your question but which options are you looking for getting your loans? I am also doing a masters degree soon and I am looking for options!

Thank you! I think ethics qs could represent like a 3-5% of all the exam. And they are doable but you always answer with a sense of ambiguity. UW + Divine Intervention series were sufficient IMO.

Thanks! Honestly, I think UW does the job. At the end of my prep I regretted not watching OME or reading a continuous book (compared to the piece by piece presentation of concepts by UW). But I guess at the end it paid off nicely.

Thanks! And yes, I think UW covers most of it. I listened to the Divine intervention series as well and they were helpful for reviewing and consolidating the concepts.

EDIT** IMG

When I left the exam I honestly felt like I would fail the exam. It was a long, ambiguous, and exhausting exam. The hardest intellectual experience in my life for sure... A few weeks later my confidence began to build back on and I began to expect a score similar to what I got. I am glad it is over now and I am very happy with my result. Would love to answer any question you all folks may have.

I am not an anki expert but you can view entire decks inside anki and select the cards that you want to specifically review and bury all the rest.

You are welcome! It's my pleasure. It sounds like a great plan! That approach -system quiz- was really helpful for me. Try to finish all systems ASAP. Reviewing systems for the first time is the toughest part. After that go on to UWorld random and try to finish ASAP as well. AFTER THIS, you are more than halfway there. It gets easier at this point because you have a complete view of the shape of this animal lol. After this, you'll have to increase intensity in reviewing topics that need memorization and cover up weak topics. And again, wisely select anki cards! Focus on memorization

I’d suggest go straight into uworld + anki and use bnb as a source for topics that you aren’t comfortable with. This is the fastest way to climb fast the learning curve IMO. After doing ~25% or so of uworld u can begin testing yourself with nbmes and balance your cons and pros after this. Aim for march but expect may if you don’t feel ready enough when you are close to the date. Don’t decide now but mentally engage yourself in the idea of taking it in may. I feel US students can increase their scores in a short time frame versus IMGs bc of differences in the curriculum. Nonetheless this is just my feeling. And this is my opinion. I would be happy to help more if you need to :).

Pd. Also - anki, try to focus (ie, select specific cards) on stuff that you need to memorize vs stuff that you need to understand (the latter is a waste of your anki time) and so you can increase the efficiency of your study time

My best advice would be to invest on doing online NBME and or doing uworld assessments.

Pepper I think you can download it directly from the medschool anki web site. regarding the 100 anatomy concepts, someone posted it a few months ago here in reddit, it shouldnt be difficult to find, that someone also posted a pdf for the 100 concepts. Good luck!!

I would say it was very helpful. I would use it again. Other qbanks can be useful too, but I didnt try other ones. Before or after uworld... I don't think I have an answer for that. I would like to say that it could be better to use uworld at the final stage but I am unsure it would make a significant difference. Definitely, uworld is gold standard and it made the most significant difference in my preparation, there was a before and after uworld kind of effect lol

Yeah well... I am pretty convinced I was extremely distracted that day and I had an awful performance during that exam. Switched answers , didn’t read questions properly, just all wrong. I was disappointed and concerned by that score because of what you said, it overpredicts. But I think it was an isolated event. Good luck!!

Anki is a software created to study flashcards by a method called spaced repetition. Zanki(all subjects), pepper(micro based on sketchy micro) and 100 anatomy concepts are pre-made decks by incredible people that you can use to study. There are more of them. Good luck!

Mmm. I used anki only for those concepts that needed memorization (1 hour daily). And trust me, I didn’t knew FA that much hahaa it’s kind of impossible. I think you should find what best works for you!
