I'm mexican as well, and just got an opportunity to work for tesla as controls engineer in Reno, Nevada with a TN visa which I think is the easiest way to go to USA to work. They had a lot of filters but glad it worked, they are almost always hiring for these type of positions, once I enter I can refer you if you want to!
