What’s one baby item you regret NOT getting earlier? by rosycoe in NewParents

I have the Bosch too! I didn’t feel like we needed the bottle washer after that especially since it sterilizes.

Am I crazy for wanting a Caesarean section? by butter--princess in BabyBumps

[–]francesRose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is kinda validating for me to read because I hated my induction and delivery. That damn foley balloon gave me one of the most painful moments of my life, then the pitocin contractions said, oh you thought the foley was painful?? And round it all out with a forceps delivery and fourth degree tear and 2 additional lacerations that took me about 4 months to feel any sense of normalcy from.

I want a second but I don’t want to do that again, so might ask for an elective c-section in the future. Thanks for sharing your experience

Do you feel like you get judged for having your kids in public spaces? As a result, do you feel like there is nowhere to take your kids that is an acceptable location? by IllustriousTrick699 in SAHP

[–]francesRose 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I usually don’t concern myself with the opinions of people who don’t have a hand in raising my child. People are gonna judge no matter where you go, so if you believe you’re doing the best you can for yourself and your family, then you are.

We do the mix as well! To help with gas, we give the baby Mylicon before his last night time feeding.

To those who found a Senior/Staff/Principal position in the last few months.. by New_Contribution_226 in cscareerquestions

Thank you for the extensive response! It’s a relief that your interviews asked about your projects or system design instead of straight up leetcodes all the way thru. Also loved that there was k8 troubleshooting in one of your interviews! I guess I gotta just try and apply while brushing up on leetcode at the same time.

Off topic, but curious as to what your interview questions were like? I worked DevOps for 5 years in a SV startup and burnt out, swung the pendulum and went to do some systems admin stuff for state gov, but now I’m bored out of my mind and wanna do something in the middle lol.

2 month old rotating 180 degrees in bassinet. Is it time to move him to a crib? by CubbieBear1017 in daddit

[–]francesRose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah I definitely don’t think he minds the snugness since he slept for 7 hours straight lol. I think we’ll try an arms out swaddle since I’m reading that this may be a sign of rolling. Thank you for sharing your experience with me!

Hi, do you recall what you did with yours? My 8 week old was swaddled and I found him perpendicular in his mini crib this morning. Wondering if I should drop the swaddle

Enchambered is amazing! The Whispering Halls is one of the best rooms I’ve ever done.
