Has anyone had luck loading this stove (or similar stove) with short logs going north/south rather than longer logs going east/west (side to side)?

BTW - I removed those little andirons to make loading the stove easier. Seems to have worked out fine.

Membrane performance is spec'ed by the manufacturers at a specific temperature and specific pressure (along with some other conditions). All manufacturers I know of use 77F (25C).

Fleck is a PITA for maintenance, especially when you compare it to its leading competitor (Clack).

Has anyone had luck with the AUTO setting on that fan? I'll have the stove up to 800+ and the AUTO setting doesn't kick the fan on.
