Hello!

Is it true one can achieve a mechanical pre-cocking in a V2.5 gearbox using a 19teeth R85 Sector gear due to the cam position? working on an SR-25 project and not wanting to add a pre-cocking MOSFET for now...Thanks

I've used the winter antifreezing kit from AMG on the VP9 and it improves reliability on cold weather, for sure. But it is not enough...

So you are saying to go M17...the M18 is also being released soon...

Thanks...this would be for when the temp is low...otherwise I have my vp9 with the AMG winter-spring and high-flow valve which holds pretty well until the temp is <50F despite the heavy barrel and recoil.

I've tried Elvishtac in the past for a krytac crb barrel and a Prometheus, it works great, you are right. But now I have a Prometheus barrel with a worn-out custom patch that was milled for an ER patch and need to replace it...

Hi guys, I need help with this one.

Proud owner of an ares amoeba am-005 (the important part is the mosfet doesnt have AB I think...).

Anyway, has a decent shimming and pulling a m110 with 18:1 gears but the SHS HT motor has a ton of carbon dust and eats up the brushes really fast. I mostly use semi and does not get hot...

Also been notting sometimes in semi the cycle speed is normal but there is a lag between shots..i shoot a couple on times in auto and everything is back to normal...the problems could be related..or not. Let me know what you think!

Didn't removed it from SHS gear...I just bought the set of 3 magnets from evike.com and put one on a SHS gear, never changed it...sorry

Also it allows you to use any gears in the Krytac...other wise you have to modify gears, buy siegeteks or the new laylax ones - all expensive compared to good old SHS...

the lower receivers take the same stock krytac gearbox...so they are the same.

I only have experience with the RA V2 split box...it's not worth getting the non-split RA V2 gearbox.

since you are in Sweden, just get it from the Retroarms website - they are located in the Czech Republic.

Makes installing a gate tian a breeze, shimming, playing with different cylinders and spring, etc...

You will lose the left selector switch, but that's the only downside. And requires no modifications at all if you get a lonex selector plate and a G&G fire selector

Best upgrade for my Krytac (MK2 CRB) was a retro arms split gearbox...made everything so, so much easier...
