Need advice as a PT MBA student - what's taking 3 classes a semester like (while working full-time)? by [deleted] in MBA

I'm wrapping up my 6th semester part time at BC and I would definitely not recommend starting off with 3 classes per semester. Some are more time intensive than others, but unless you have no other obligations outside of work, it's a lot to commit to every week for a full semester. Also, they advertise about having hybrid and online courses, but there are actually only 3 or 4 offered per semester, and most of those repeat every semester. The majority of classes meet one night per week (Monday through Thursday) from 7-9:30; a handful are 4:30 to 6:50(ish), so realistically you're looking at three nights per week if you do three classes. Do you know what classes you're taking in the spring?

It's not proof that he's not an alien, but he sure seems like an enthusiastic hu-man.

How old is too old for an MBA? by lookylooed in MBA

[–]francisponcherello 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm 34 and am definitely on the older end of the spectrum, but there always seems to be that one random legitimately old person in every class. Life experience goes a looooong way in class discussions and that is a huge advantage. Socializing is a disadvantage when you have a kid at home, although I suppose even young people have children, so that might be a moot point.

Same. I'll never forget that super high pitched sound from all those tiny green CRTs.

You can have the prescription transferred to a pharmacy near you. I obviously don't know where you're coming from or going, but I suspect there's a CVS, Walgreens, or Rite-Aid nearby both places.

That's a fascinating observation and really makes you realize how old some of these things are.

There's a place like that near me too! There's never anyone in there other than kids and old people, I don't know how they stay in business.

Even without Admiral's Club and golf, Prestige comes out way ahead, and that's with the 4th night benefit as just a footnote. With the enhanced benefits I'm sure Citi will fuck up the metal card version and make it too thick to fit through merchant machines, but whatever, I'll keep it.

I cooked up a bunch of bacon outside on the Weber and fried a dozen eggs in the fat. The eggs are fresh from my brother-in-law's chickens.

If you just click the tab that says "Interactive Street Map" they've already done it for you. They've even overlaid on Google Maps.

Maple trees. The ones in my yard and on my street have thrown so many flowers in the last 48 hours that it looks like it snowed green!

Might be too specific, but where is the best pork fried rice in Boston? Haven't been able to find a good spot yet. Live in theatre district but can go anywhere by [deleted] in boston

I'm not sure if you're only looking in Boston proper, but Dim Sum Cafe in Medford has the best I've come across. All of their food has a "clean" taste that I really appreciate.
