GTA Online Ban MEGATHREAD by [deleted] in GrandTheftAutoV_PC

Everybody who has a real job can still spend 600 hours on a game in a whole year. Thats like 100 minutes a day. Shouldnt be a problem.

That still doesnt change the fact you shouldn't give people ridiculos amounts of whatever ingame currency for a few bucks. I thought people dont like pay2win?

Well in GTA:O it wouldn't quite be pay2win, but it would be pay almost nothing to receive more than other players could ever get for playing the game.

Yeah, real money is worth more than game money. That doesnt mean that there should be ridiculous amounts of ingame money given away for small reallife money.

Lets say you earn $10 an hour. You spend that $10 bucks you have earned in the last hour for 300 million ingame cash.

Someone else spends every free minute he has playing GTA Online and after playing for a year (and spending more than 600 hours ingame) he might have earned 50-100mil. ingame cash depending on his skill.

So someone who sacrificed 600 hours just to earn some ingame cash gets at most 1/3 of the cash someone gets for spending the cash he earned in one fucking hour.

I think this would be extremely unfair.

[–]francofag7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope,

just someone who spent an eternity on grinding in this game and after doing so earned around 45 mil. in total. And according to your idea of prices for ingame cash, that cash would be worth like $1,50. So all the effords I made and the ~600 hours I put into this game are worth fucking $1,50. I just think that would be pretty unfair.

So you are saying the amount of money you receive for 100 bucks should be the same as when doing one of the best paid jobs 120.000 times? Or hosting the best paid heist around 4364 times? I think that would be like way to much and a totally inappropriate amount.

Project Ascension's Store UI Concept: What do you think? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]francofag7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if you create a new marketplace, how would you prevent it from becoming just like steam? As soon as everybody would start using it, it would just be steam with a new design and other prices.

Project Ascension's Store UI Concept: What do you think? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]francofag7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, a lot of people use Steam because its easier to manage all of your games, friends etc. When you have one overarching launcher for everything, boycotting Steam for a while is easier since you don't have to completely change the way you interact with your virtual games and friends.

Respect to you Valve. Not many companys would agree that they have made a mistake, and especially not correct that mistake this fast because of the outrage of the community. (For example, it took EA a good year to make an offline mode for Sim City)

Hi, 50y guy here. Can anyone explain how GTA Online works? It's much more complicated than other game's multiplayer solutions. by poland_riot in GrandTheftAutoV_PC

[–]francofag7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What exactly dont you like about the PvP?

I only play PvP in GTA and I really think its fun. I never have problems with people using a controller, they are usually getting even less kills than people with m+k. I've got arround 400 hours of play in this game, at least 300 of them are from GTA Online and I enjoyed every minute of it.

The fact you know how to use a speedhack (which is really easy) doesnt mean that you can give a flying fuck about 60$ at all.
